TRANSPORTATION

Metal Trades, Inc. has access to all major forms of transportation including trucking, rail, and barge.  Very large items can be loaded directly onto barges with a pier-side crane, taking advantage of MTI’s location along the intra-coastal waterway (ICW mile marker 490).   For shipments via truck, we can utilize our own Peterbuilt 18-wheeler or subcontracted trucking companies to move items via interstate highways.

International shipments can be arranged easily since Metal Trades is approximately 20 miles south of Charleston, SC, a major east coast international port.
