WELDING CAPABILITIES

Metal Trades has approximately 90 full-time welders that are highly qualified and experienced with many types of welding.  All welders are certified in accordance with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section 9 standards.  For certain projects, semi-automatic welding processes are utilized when possible in order to maximize efficiency while maximizing weld quality.

A key area of Metal Trades’ expertise is applying the best welding procedures and methods in order to limit distortion and ensure required dimensional controls on the final product.  This is particularly important for items requiring field installation or off-site final assembly.
